Help Us Build the New Domino

The new Domino Theatre has opened in the Harold Harvey Centre at 52 Church St. in Portsmouth Village.

Rebuilding our theatre has taken a lot of work, but this is nearing completion. We have installed walls, light grids, sound and light electric and audio infrastructure, auditorium stepped seating, a stage, actors' dressing room, kitchen and office and some washrooms for internal use.

Our fundraising has gone well and we have achieved our original goal and surpassed it. Unfortunately, as with most builds, costs are higher than estimated and more money is needed to cover those costs. Final figures are not in, but we have arranged for a line of credit with our bank so that we can cover any shortfall. We are almost there, but not quite. Any further support you can manage will be greatly appreciated.

Domino Theatre Inc. is a charitable organization and donations are fully tax deductible.

Three Domino stalwarts have agreed to be our honorary fundraising chairs. Judith Thompson, world renowned playwright, Carolyn Hetherington, professional actor and Dennis Curtis of Scrooge and Music Hall fame all performed happily at Domino Theatre over many years and are eager to see us rebuild.

Construction Update

We issue charitable tax receipts for donations over $10.

Seats – We have 40 seats without name plaques – donation level $250. We will install a brass plaque with your name(s) on the arm of an auditorium chair.
