This is a fairly complete list of my published scientific papers, with the most recent first. Some of them are available as downloadable PDF files. Note that some of these pdfs have been made from photocopies that have been downsampled to keep the size small enough for easy downloading. This makes for poorer (though legible) quality than you might be used to in a pdf file. You might want to set your printer to "print as image" if you are having problems printing them.

On separate pages are some Book chapters and other things that I have written.

Click on PDF to download the pdf. Red for birds, blue for fish, black for other animals, green for history of science. Send me an email if you want something not available here or if the link is broken.
