Women, Gender and Music
Spring 2004
Musc 286*, "Women, Gender and Music" is a study, from feminist perspectives, of women's roles in music and relation to music in popular and classical genres of various historic and contemporary traditions. Critical examination of the construct of gender and identity in several musics is included.
