Eva Krugly-Smolska

Hi there, thanks for visiting. At this point I have barebones information for you listing my research interests. I am essentially a comparativist whose main interest is culture and science education. All of my research is related to that in some way. I am a past president of the Comparative and International Education Society of Canada. I speak English, French, Ukrainian and Polish fluently and have some basic use of Spanish which is important in my comparative work. My main teaching responsibilities at the Faculty are in Science Education (Biology) in the B.Ed. program and multicultural education in the M.Ed. program.

I was editor of Canadian and International Education, a journal of the Comparative and International Education Society of Canada, from 2001 to 2004, and am on the editorial board of Science Education as well as the Canadian Journal of Science Mathematics and Technology Education. My publications appear in, among others, the International Journal of Science Education, Science and Education, Canadian and International Education, and The Canadian Journal of Education. A listing of some of my recent publications is available in the Faculty's research report.
