Mapping Kingston's Religious Landscape

This research project on RELIGIOUS DIVERSITY IN KINGSTON provides a total mapping of the religious landscape of Kingston, Ontario early in the 21st century.

  • We have conducted more than 100 interviews with religious groups about their sites and activities in Kingston.  Photographs, factual information, television interviews and videotapes, audiotaped interviews, and site visits have been of the study.
  • Through articles, conference papers, and a book now being completed a comprehensive picture of all facets of religion in Kingston is emerging.
  • The ultimate aim is that through these forms of publication and communication the people of Kingston and the religious groups of the city—as well as the usual academic audience in Religious Studies—will be served.
