BIOL 956

BIOL 956: Advanced Studies in Cell and Molecular Biology  will be hosted through Moodle.

Overview: This is the introductory course for graduate students in the Cellular, Molecular and Integrative Biology (CMIB)  program.  This course provides graduate students with a solid function of molecular and cell biology rather than offer small, specialized courses with very few students. Peer interaction is necessary in an intellectual environment. The course aims to bring more students together and create a broader and better learning environment.  The course will appeal to most disciplines and not be constrained by a single model system, biological process, or level (genomic, cell, biochemistry, etc) of study. Subjects will be chosen based on students' interests.

Prerequisite or corequiste: biology  grad student

Term: Winter
